For the 2024 high school graduation exam, Long An has an exam council chaired by Department of Education and Training. The whole province has 36 exam areas with 15,804 candidates, including 15,289 grade 12 students and 515 independent candidates.
Up to this point, preparations for the 2024 High School Graduation Exam in the province are basically guaranteed according to regulations. The facilities at the exam areas are prepared to serve the exam. Schools continue to review grade 12 students, equipping them with knowledge to help them confidently enter the exam. Associations, unions, and localities have plans to support the exam season, so that students do not have to miss the exam due to lack of economic conditions in their families or due to travel, food, and rest conditions.

Deputy Minister of Education and Training - Nguyen Van Phuc highly appreciated the results of organizing the province's High School Graduation Exam in recent years, but the province should not be subjective. He proposed that the province review the work assignment for members of the Provincial Steering Committee to have the best preparation for the exam; create favorable conditions for students, especially propagate exam regulations and avoid violations during the exam; focus on ensuring the confidentiality of exams.
The Deputy Minister reminded the province to focus on handling wireless devices at exam areas, ensuring compliance with regulations; creating conditions for exam examiners to stay; having a backup plan to handle unusual situations; etc.
