The team’s haul, including one Champion title, 10 golds, seven silvers, and four bronzes, surpassed expectations. Vietnam, competing since 2019, has secured over 200 AIMO medals, cementing its regional standing.

Vietnamese students won two golds, three silvers, and one bronze at the 66th International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) in 2025 in Queensland, Australia from July 10-20.

This marks the first time Vietnam has claimed four golds in an IChO held in-person format.
