Rung Dau Trade - Agricultural Services Cooperative finds its own position in the market
Although Rung Dau Trading - Agricultural Services Cooperative (located in Tan My commune, Duc Hoa district, Long An province) was newly established at the beginning of 2019, it has 10 members with 6.5 hectares of land specializing in production of vegetables, tubers, fruits have gradually found a new direction, creating a position in the market.

Deputy Director of Rung Dau Trading - Agricultural Services Cooperative - Do Van Hung said: “The members of the cooperative focus on production in the direction of hi-tech application to ensure safe and quality products. However, currently, unstable product output is always the biggest concern of not only agricultural cooperatives and cooperative members, but also our cooperative. It is still limited for agricultural cooperatives in general and high-tech application cooperatives in particular to access to credit capital and the State's support”.
Mr. Le Van Dau - member of the cooperative, said: “All members are enthusiastic, invest in producing towards creating safe, high quality products with the desire to meet the increasing needs of the market. I planted bitter melon in a safe way. With 0.3 hectares of bitter melon, I harvest nearly 6.5 tons per crop, an increase of 1.2 tons compared to outside the model, the profit is nearly 35 million VND."
Mr. Nguyen Van At living in Rung Dau hamlet, Tan My commune, Duc Hoa district, changed to planting bitter melon on 0.2 hectares of land and followed the safe vegetable production process. Each crop, he harvests more than 4 tons of bitter melon, the cooperative cooperated to buy so the price was stable. Presently, the cooperative buys vegetables at a price higher than the market from 2,000 to 5,000 VND per kg.
Although newly established and put into operation not too long, the Rung Dau Cooperative Trade - Agricultural Services Cooperative always aims to gather farmers' households, organize the implementation of production plans in the direction of applying high technology, effective business, improving the economic value as well as the quality of products provided by the Rung Dau Cooperative service brand, thereby the life of cooperative members and farmers in the area has been improved./.
