Long An: Market Management forces found 203 violations in the first quarter of 2019
In the first quarter, Long An Department of Market Surveillance directed its subordinate teams to conduct patrol and control business activities in the province. Accordingly, the situation of trade fraud, production and trade of fake and poor-quality goods still occurs in the province.
Market Surveillance Force examines a commodity shop
Specifically, the forces inspected and found 203 violations. Commercial frauds inspected and discovered by the Market Surveillance Teams including 23 cases of transporting smuggled cigarettes, fined VND 40 million, grasped 6,778 packages of foreign cigarettes and 13 motorbikes used as means of transporting goods; 10 violations of selling smuggled cigarettes at the cigarette shops, fined VND 25 million, grasped 244 packages of foreign cigarettes.
In addition, there are other violations such as 103 cases of violation of regulations on listing prices; 2 violations of fertilizer business not meeting the applicable announced standards; 1 violation of fertilizer business and consumption not meeting the applicable announced standards; 5 cases of trading in fake motorbike parts ; 9 violations of business conditions; 25 violations of goods labels; 26 violations of food hygiene and safety./.
