Regarding aquaculture, he requested that the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, and localities continue to promote propaganda and warn people about the immediate and long-term impacts of shrimp farming in freshwater areas, and not to develop new farming areas; strengthen management, inspection, and strictly handle violations of the law on converting rice-growing land to shrimp farming, drilling wells for salt water, and environmental protection.
