The ceremony to commend young citizens in 2022 took place during the 11th Congress of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in Long An province, term 2022 - 2027. This is an honor and encouragement for the youth of Long An. At the commendation ceremony, young citizens from different fields were named respectively to the podium. These are 10 representative individuals representing youth, aspiration, spreading the message of a young generation in Long An living responsibly to themselves, to work, always innovating creative thinking, applying technology into practice, constantly aspiration, persistently pursuing dreams, overcoming self-limitations, confidently integrating and reaching out to the world.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee – Pham Tan Hoa praised and congratulated 10 honored representative young individuals and young promising individuals. He hopes that  the young people respect, are proud of and are aware of their responsibilities and noble missions, constantly develop, cultivate and practice on the basis of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; genuinely become typical role models of the province's youth.

He also suggested that the Provincial Youth Union continue to research and innovate in activities, organize selection and honoring representative young citizens of the province; do well in detecting, electing and honoring young talents, taking care and promoting advanced examples after commendation. Agencies and organizations of the Youth Union, Association and Team at all levels need to organize practical movements, create an environment for young people to practice, grow, multiply and spread good values, people, work and typical example.
